Norman W. Baaso
East Lansing
Born January 30, 1920 in Calumet, MI, Norman passed away on July 7, 2012 at the age of 92. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, 1942 through 1945. He retired from General Motors in 1982 after 25 years of service.
Norman was devoted to his family and is survived by his wife of 63 years, Miriam; daughters, Carolyn (Edward) Tobin and Cheryl (John) Cogo; grandsons, Charles Meluch, Thomas Meluch and Mark Cogo; granddaughter, Ellen (James IV) Willis; and great-grandson, James Willis V; and sister, Clarice Bradley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 12 noon at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
