Obituary

Petit, Norman Coolidge of Garnerville and formerly of Suffern, dies April 9, 2014 at age 90. Born January 14, 1924 in Suffern, NY to Ralph and Bertha Petit. Norman was a US Army Combat Veteran who served honorably as a Tech Sergeant and Tank Driver with the 1st Armored Division. He saw action in North Africa, the Italian Campaign, Anzio, Monte Casino, Breakout of Anzio, Rome and Sicily. Survived by his beloved wife Patricia "Rusty", loving children Norman "Butch" Petit (wife Patricia) of Kingsport, TN, Barry Paul Petit (wife Cathy) of Louisburg, TN and KC Smith of Indiana and cherished grandchildren Joseph Ralph Petit of Costa Rica, Barry Petit of Louisburg, TN and Bernadette Vesy of Louisburg, TN.
