WE only met Norm and Sue once (when Phil became our pastor), but it was as if we had known them for many years. Our deepest condolences to ALL of the family and especially to our friends and pastor - Phil and Debbie.

Mr. Steinbach was was truly a blessing to anyone that Knew him. I mentioned to him one day that I would like to have a Methodist cross and he made one for me. I will cherish it forever . Heaven has definitely received an Angel. He will be missed.

Norm was a good man and a good friend. He called not long ago and was upbeat and content. After commenting that the distance between our homes was too far for either of us to travel he said that we wouldn't see each other again this side of heaven. It was a sobering thought.

In 2000, Windcrest United Methodist Church (San Antonio) wanted to start a Praise Team Band. We discovered that Norm (age 77 then) could play the electric bass. He was willing and able! We also had an (age) 70+ drummer. These two guys 'rocked it' every Sunday! We were sorry to lose Norm and Sue to San Angelo in 2002, but we were all better for knowing them. Our prayers go out to Sue and the family.

I remember being in a small group once at WUMC with Norm and Sue. I learned so much and had so much fun with them both. Norman was one of my favorites and I've missed them both. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Steve and family,
You and I were in Boy Scouts together. I remember the wonderful sense of humor your dad displayed. As I read the Obituary this morning, I began to remember how your dad would take a name and pronounce it in reverse. I can hear him doing his name and teaching me mine. I sat there and pronounced his perfectly. I know he will be missed.
