Norm and Mary were customers of mine when I worked for major publishers. But more than that, they were friends. I am sorry to learn about Norm's death but he has a new gig now. RIP my friend.

My condolences to Mary and the family. I enjoyed my time working for Norm at Book Service and have fond memories of the picnics out at Useless Bay. I'm greatly appreciative of the opportunities to learn more of the book business and of the support I was given when I moved on in my career.

We have so many memories of Norman and Mary, our neighbors across the street in Glenhaven for
so many years while raising our families. We smile when
recalling how Norm could wash his cars, paint his house
while dressed in good slacks. Norm was a perfectionist.
We had good times with he and Mary on our boats, visiting
them in Palm Desert and many New Years Eve parties on the island.

Our thoughts go out to Mary who Norman adored,
wonderful couple and such good parents.

Norm played an important role in helping develop my career in the publishing industry. I'll always remember him for his generosity and willingness to share ideas. I was very fortunate to have met and worked for Norm and Mary for all those years.
He was not only my boss but more importantly a friend.
Barb and I send our sincere condolences to the family.
