Born in Walkerville, Norman passed peacefully in his 93rd year, surrounded by friends. Beloved husband of the late Denise (2011), to whom he was devoted. Dear friend to many, including Carol & Tony Grassi and family and his dedicated caregivers from Amy's Helping Hands, Lindsay (who went above and beyond), Eileen, Melissa, Jeffery, Tracy and Brandi. Norman will also be missed by the caring staff at Sunrise and the dear friends he made there. Norman was a retired Canada Customs Officer and rarely missed the Annual Retirees' Luncheon. Throughout his life, Norman enjoyed collecting stamps, coins, and especially seashells, which he gathered during his many vacations to Florida, where he was an avid fisherman. Norman loved Sunrise and during his time there he was fond of playing billiards and taking walks in the riverfront park. Norman generously shared many wonderful stories of his life and his positive outlook, love of laughter and zest for life was an inspiration to all who knew him. Norman, we will surely miss your smile!
