Norvell Davis, 85 of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was the retired owner of Davis Engine and Compressor, Air Force veteran of World War II and the widower of Bobby Davis. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith with burial at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Friday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will meet with friends from 5 – 7 p.m. He is survived by one son, Rick Davis and wife, Janie of Lake Wylie, SC; one...

He is survived by one son, Rick Davis and wife, Janie of Lake Wylie, SC; one daughter, Renee Johnson and husband, Todd of Greenwood; one sister, Gracie King of Lawton, OK; four grandchildren, Braden and Ashley Johnson of Greenwood, Michelle Mason and husband, Chad of Houston, TX and Ryan Davis and wife, Kati of Lake Wylie, SC; two great grandchildren, Hunter Ryan Davis of Lake Wylie, SC and Morgan Kathryn Mason of Houston, TX.

Pallbearers will be Chad Mason, Jackie Davis, Dale Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, Jeremy Johnson and Glenn Davis. Honorary pallbearer will be lifelong friend, Darrell Wheeler and Warren Barge.
