Ocea "Buzz" Mae Woodall was born 5 a.m. on February 25, 1928, in Crandall, Texas, the daughter of Boyd Woodall of Fairfield, Texas, and Cassie Viola Griffey of Crandall, Texas. Her father farmed and was a Baptist minister and member of a local orchestra. Her mother was a housewife and played piano. The family moved to the Plano, Texas, area when she was a year old. Cassie Viola died in June of 1931. Ocea first attended BethanySchool when she was four years old through third grade. When the school closed she attended Plano Schools. After graduating from Plano High School in 1944, she boarded a train to Key West, Florida, where she married...
Ocea "Buzz" Mae Woodall was born 5 a.m. on February 25, 1928, in Crandall, Texas, the daughter of Boyd Woodall of Fairfield, Texas, and Cassie Viola Griffey of Crandall, Texas. Her father farmed and was a Baptist minister and member of a local orchestra. Her mother was a housewife and played piano.

The family moved to the Plano, Texas, area when she was a year old. Cassie Viola died in June of 1931. Ocea first attended BethanySchool when she was four years old through third grade. When the school closed she attended Plano Schools. After graduating from Plano High School in 1944, she boarded a train to Key West, Florida, where she married Jack W. Hudson in early 1945. They had a son, Jack Hudson, Jr. who was born and died on December 10, 1945. At the end of World War II, they settled in Plano and had two more children: Jaquine in 1947 and Cynthia Joette in 1949. Moving to Waco in 1953, Ocea attended classes at Baylor and worked in the Accounting Office, starting the first Credit Union at Baylor. Patti was born in 1954, and then Melody Lynn in 1958 and Celena Dawn in 1959. In July of 1962, she divorced and moved to Plano, meeting Alex W. Allen. They married September 14, 1962, and Alexander (Zandy) Allen, Jr. was born in 1963 and Mary Pat Allen in 1964.
She designed and made fashions for Barbie, selling them at Craft Shows in the Plano area. In her lifetime, she met architect Frank Lloyd Wright, actor Charlton Heston, and she received personal correspondence from painter Norman Rockwell, and met the cast of the television show Dallas. She saw Elvis, Ray Charles, and Roy Orbison in concert. She was a 20 year member of DAR. Ocea was an amazing mother and wife, her heart full of love for all her family. She devoted her life to her adoring husband, Alex, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ocea died November 24, 2013 in Norman, Oklahoma, following a brief hospitalization, to the sounds of Amazing Grace. She is survived by her son and six daughters, grandchildren Susan Greer, Morgan Rogers, Astrud Reed, Boyd Gee Littell, Bethany Liles, Michelle Blake, Sara Perez, Alex Cunningham, Rainey Gregg, Weston (Rowdy) Gregg, and Autry Gregg: great grandchildren (who called her Great): A. J. Lloyd, Paul Reed, Keever Greer, Rachel Liles, Natalie Liles, Donavan Blake and Marley Grace Rogers. Her grandson Paul Littell preceded her in death.
