Veen Almond passed away on Wednesday at the Marrwood Centre in Langley. She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Almond on June 19, 2010. Loving mother of Karen (Tom) McDonald, Dani-Lissa (Patrick) Brisbin, Kenneth (Kelly) and Michael (Lori). She was a devoted grandmother to Kaleigh, Zachary, Aaron, James, Jennifer, Cole, Brett and Dusty; and great-grandmother to Mannix.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.
God saw the road was getting rough, the hill was hard to climb. He gently closed your loving eyes and whispered, "Peace be thine."

Veen was my mother-in law (Ken) and I loved her very much. I have many wonderful memories of her through out the years I have known her. She loved all of her family and will be missed by all
I miss you Veen in my own memories. You were strong, fun and funny and always a delight to be around.
Rest in peace with Big Ken, Aunty Norm, your mom and dad and many of your friends who have waited for you to join them
Be at peace now and know that you will always be remembered and loved
