Uncle Sam will be greatly missed here, but greatly welcomed up there. We loved and appreciated him. Love you, Aunt Lois, Steve, Linda and families.

My fondest memory I got to share with Sam was at Westpark Rehab Center where I work. When I asked him if he could raise his feet so I could take him back to his room, he replied "I'd raise them up over my head if it would help". It was so very funny then and a wonderful memory now. I will miss both Sam and the visits by his wife, Lois. What a long and happy marriage. 65 years.

My sincerest condolences for the loss of your husband.

Big hugs to Aunt Lois and the family. It's always hard to say goodbye to a beloved member of our family, but we know it's only farewell for a time. We know this is not goodbye, because all who have put their faith in Jesus will be reunited in heaven some day. I know I will see Uncle Sam again.

I was very sad to hear of Uncle Sam's passing. Living for 94 was quite an accomplishment when you think of all the events and changes that he witnessed in his lifetime. Still it is very sad to see the last of the Ash boys go. I hope you are all doing well. Take care.
