Aunt Blanche was a great aunt. She was a very kind and caring person. I miss her so much already and knowing she won't be stopping by to see me on Thanksgiving breaks my heart! I know you are in a better place now and not in pain and you are with alot of our family who went to be with our Lord before you and they welcomed you home! Until we meet again I will miss you and love you forever!!

Blanche Owney was part of my life from my earliest memories, as well Charles and her parents, Jim and Florence Howard. We worshiped with them for many years and our lives were touched by their love. How grateful I am that I have known such fortresses and rocks as these. My sympathies and love to Charles and all the family.

My Aunt Blanche's kindness was genuine. She was very loving and easy going . I have so many great childhood memories of going over to her house. She was like a second mom to me. I feel bad that I can't make it up to her funeral but Proverbs 22:6 says (Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.) Even though I'm still a work in progress and have strayed, I know I will see her again in heaven because my aunt Blanche made sure I knew Jesus.

Though my own heart aches with the loss of my dear, sweet Aunt, there is another who needs our prayers most as his loss is immense in comparison. Pray for my Uncle Charles and that Our Heavenly Father wraps his loving arms tightly around him to give him strength and comfort during this most difficult time. Aunt Blanche, your loving, kind, caring, generous, and humble spirit will live in my heart forever. Your grace and beauty is indelibly imprinted in my mind. God blessed my family so to place you into our lives, and if I can someday be only half the woman that you were, I will be a remarkable human being. I love you, and I will miss your sweet smile and laughter forever more. It gives me great joy to think of all the family members who have gone on before welcoming you, with arms extended, into the Kingdom of Heaven. Rest in peace, and I will join you again someday. Until then.........Lovingly, Vicki

Aunt Blanche dearly loved her family and we dearly loved her. She and Charles made it a point to stop by every easter and bring my girls an Easter basket every year. The girls loved them too. Riley still plays with a little wind up bunny that was in her easter basket a couple years ago. Just last night she had it in the bed and was pulling the string. I asked her what that noise was and she showed me that bunny. I looked at her and smiled thinking that Blanche was looking down on us that night. Love and miss you always Aunt Blanche.
