Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 26, 2012.

Ora Estelle Keyes Cook was born November 21, 1932 in Raleigh, NC. She had two siblings, a sister June and brother Dewey. In 1953, she married the love of her life, Willis Wayne "Jack" Cook. Soon after they were married, the couple moved to Tacoma, WA, where Jack enlisted into the U.S. Army. After two years in the service, the couple welcomed their first child, Doris Irene, in 1955. Eighteen months later, they had their second child, Paul Wayne Cook. The family moved to Arlington, TX in 1969 where Jack worked at General Motors and Ora was a homemaker. Ora enjoyed gardening, sewing and being with her family. She was a Christian woman who accepted Jesus as her Savior.
Ora and Jack moved to Red, Oak, TX in 1986. After 47 years of marriage, her Husband Jack passed away in year 2000. She had three grandchildren, Brandy Morgan of Orange, TX; Justin Leverton of Nacogdoches and Twila Lindblade of League City, TX. She also has six great grandchildren: Ethan, Victoria, Tyler, Elise, Zander and Brynten. She is survived by her daughter Doris and son-in law Michael Greenwood of Ennis, Tx and son Paul Cook of Red Oak.
