Orean Bradley Odle 97 passed away July 26, 2014 in Denison, Texas. Orean Bradley Odle was born May 18, 1917 in Parker County Texas, the daughter of Minnie Alice Addington & Henry Barton Bradley. She was one of 18 children. She married Jessie Howard Odle in 1933. They were married for 56 years. Mrs. Odle moved to Denison in the early 1940's where she became a member of East Baptist Church. Her love was teaching in the Beginners and Primary Departments. She always looked forward to summer Vacation Bible School. Her deviled eggs were always requested at church functions and dinners for families that had lost loved ones. She...

Orean Bradley Odle was born May 18, 1917 in Parker County Texas, the daughter of Minnie Alice Addington & Henry Barton Bradley. She was one of 18 children.

She married Jessie Howard Odle in 1933. They were married for 56 years.

Mrs. Odle moved to Denison in the early 1940's where she became a member of East Baptist Church. Her love was teaching in the Beginners and Primary Departments. She always looked forward to summer Vacation Bible School. Her deviled eggs were always requested at church functions and dinners for families that had lost loved ones.

She worked in the Denison Independent School District Cafeteria where she enjoyed serving the students, facility, and most of all fellowshiping with other workers.

She is survived by her children: Henry Gene Odle of Arlington, TX. , Billy Joe Odle of Kemp, OK. Mozelle Odle Weatherly and Husband Bill Weatherly of Fort Worth, TX. , Lazelle Odle Weda and Husband Angelo Weda of Denison, TX.
We would like to give recognition to special daughters who have helped with her care for a number of years: Joan Brown Odle of Arlington, TX. and Carolyn Martin McGee of Colbert, OK.

Mrs. Odle's grandchildren: Tanja Odle Burgdorf and Husband Wayne of Arlington, TX., Jim Odle and wife Vickie of Kremlin, OK. , Stacie Odle Row and Husband Joey of Lewisville, TX. , Melanie Weatherly Sparkman of Fort Worth, TX. Brad Weatherly of North Richland Hills, TX. , Jay Weda and wife Kim of Denison, TX. Rhonda Weda Spence of Sherman, and Larry Brockman and wife Lindi of Burleson, TX. She has been blessed to have 19 Great Grand Children & 9 Great-Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her Husband Jessie Howard Odle who worked for 30 years as a Service Brakeman for the Katy Rail Road, Grandson Mark Weatherly of Fort Worth, TX. , Great Grandson Kyle Weatherly of Fort Worth, Her parents Minnie Alice & Henry Barton Bradley, 17 brothers & sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Family Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2014 from 6-8pm and Tuesday (1 Hour) before service

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10 AM at Bratcher Funeral Home 401 W. Woodard, Denison, TX. 75020. Officiating will be Brother Danny Woods of West Sherman Baptist Church, Sherman, TX And Brother Brett Castle of East Side Baptist Church, Denison, TX.

Pall Bearers for Mrs. Odle will be her Grandsons:
Jim Odle -Kremlin, OK. -Brad Weatherly- North Richland Hills, TX. -Larry Brockman- Burleson, TX.-Joey Row- Lewisville, TX. -Wayne Burgdorf- Arlington, TX. -Jay Weda- Denison, TX.

Mrs. Odle has called Denison Nursing & Rehab her home for the past 10 years where she has lived comfortably and received excellent care and love. She was very active in all activities under the direction of Belinda Lowrance – Activity Director. Her medical needs were a priority to LVN Megan Gurley and the entire medical staff of the home.
Mrs. Odle was always complementary of the food provided by Amanda Fleck and her entire staff. She was always grateful for the cleanliness provided by Linda Lashley and the rest of the cleaning staff.

The Odle Family wants to thank the entire staff for all they have done to help give our mother special care and a happy life. The entire staff will always be fondly remembered by the Odle Family.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to East Baptist Church or the Denison Nursing & Rehab Fund.
