Orlie "O.J." Howard

Obituary

Visitation service for Orlie J. "O.J." Howard, 65, of Anniston, will be this evening from 6–8 p.m. at Gray Brown Funeral Home. Mr. Howard died Wednesday afternoon at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Helma Howard; daughters, Pamella Howard of Anniston and Jennifer Skinner of Oxford; 4 grandchildren, Cody Homnack, Katey, JoJo, and Cruz Skinner; sister, Loralie Howard of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brother, Charles Howard of Paola, Kansas; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Orland and Georgie Howard.

Mr. Howard was a native of Salina, Kansas and resident of Anniston, Alabama. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a member of the VFW and Anniston Country Western Dance Club.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VFW auxiliary #924.
