Obituary

THRUSH, ORVAL E., 95, of Louisville, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014. He was a native of Wakefield KS, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Fern Creek Masonic Lodge F & Am, the Lions Club and a member of the Summit Heights United Methodist Church.

Orval is survived by his wife, Sally Thrush, children, Kel Thrush (Beth), Sam Thrush (Diana), Roger Thrush (Gerry) and Alan Thrush (Cindy), a brother, Roy Thrush and a sister Lola Marston; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate Orval's life will be conducted at noon, Monday, June 16, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville. Entombment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 11 a.m. Monday until service time.
