So sorry to hear the unexpected passing of cousin Orville. We so enjoyed seeing he and Emmy at our annual family reunion and looked forward to seeing him again this year. Our families had gotten so large that we missed the years of closeness we spent as children. We will so miss him.

I was so devastated to hear about my dear cousin's death. We had a wonderful relationship over many years even though we were usually far apart geographically. Nonetheless, we were able to visit Karen and him fairly often at their home and ours. Orville was a wonderful man who had great compassion for others and in his faith and love of God. My condolences to Sheri and Kevin.

Orville and I were class mates at Lodi Union High School were we graduated in 1951. He and his family were regulars at Salem Evangelical Church. We attended Sunday School and services together. That was long ago, however I remember him as a special friend.

Orville was generous with us and others. He enjoyed hosting his grandson's and our son on special trips. They enjoyed car shows, and trips to his cabin. He had confidence in others. He was a good sport. His smile, interest in others, laughter and enthusiasm for life will be missed.
May we take comfort in our memories of Orville and in the Lord: “The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms...” Deuteronomy 33:27KJV
