Sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Wheeler, he was a memorable person even after 40 years. He has touched many lives from working in the school system. Praying for the family.

I have known O.V. for a number of years beginning with 1947 when we worked together at M.F.A. Oil Company which at that time was located upstairs at the corner of 7th and Broadway. Then Alva & I moved to Columbia in 1952 and lived around the corner on N. Greenwood from him & Ginger until 1969. We discussed our Naval careers of WWII & Korean War as civilians as the years went on.
Alva & I will miss him.
Fondly,
Jim & Alva Cunningham
