Owen Gillespie was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Gillespie. Loving father of Carole (John) Rasmussen and Pam (Tom) Fattore. Devoted grandfather of Becky, Andy, Peter and Laura. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born April 1, 1916 in Glasgow, Scotland, he passed away Dec. 22, 2012 at home. He was a retired production manager at Stewart-Warner. He served in the Pacific as an Army Medic in WWII. He was a former member of the Chicago Police Auxiliary Squad. He was an avid fisherman and gardener, as well as being a loyal Cubs fan.
