ISENOR, Pansy Irene – 87, Dutch Settlement, passed away Sunday May 22, 2011 Born in Dutch Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Viola Ashley. Pansy worked at Sears and was later employed by Cara Operations at Stanfield Airport until her retirement. Surviving are sons Reg (Myrna), Shubenacadie; Danny (Cindy), Elmsdale; Scott (Kate), Carrolls Corner; daughter Marilyn (Everett) Densmore, Liverpool; and son-in-law Hank Isenor, Elmsdale; as well as nine grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Lenna Ashley, Earlene (Garfield) Isenor, Sandra (Ira) Gloade and brothers Don (Marge) Ashley, and Grant Ashley, all of Dutch Settlement. Pansy was predeceased by her husband Percy, daughter Linda and brothers Warren and Reg. The family would like to thank the staff at Northwood and the Magnolia for the special care they gave Mom. Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 24 in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating, assisted by Rev. Patty McKenna, followed by a private family burial in St. George's Cemetery, Dutch Settlement. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
