Patricia K. "Pat" Sullivan, age 68, of Glendale passed away March 28, 2015. Born March 4, 1947 in Tuscola, IL to Jack and Ruth Cochran. The family moved to Buckeye, AZ in 1955. They later relocated to Phoenix in 1960. Pat graduated from Cortez High School in 1965. She joined the Maricopa County Medical Society in 1966 and was employed in the Medical Library for 33 years, the last 15 years as Head Librarian. Pat was married to her husband, Rusty, for 39 years until his passing in December 2005. She is survived by her son, Dennis and daughter-in-law, Michelle and grandsons, Mitchel and Jack of Glendale, AZ; step-daughter, Jackie Sullivan (Dana Benson) of Gulfport, MS and step-son, Steven Hawkins (Kathy), of Bogota, TX along with her beloved, four-legged friend, "Harry". Pat enjoyed her retirement, trips to Ireland, Alaska and many road and air trips to the lower 48; her summer home for 26 years at Mormon Lake Trailer Park in Northern Arizona. She attended, missing very few of her grandsons' sports and school activities and enjoyed being with family and friends. She also loved going to the casino! Pat was a very kind, generous and loving person who made a lasting impact on everyone she met. She is loved dearly by her family and friends and will be missed terribly. We are grateful for all the wonderful memories that will keep us until we meet again. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm at West Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, April 2rd, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, AZ. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, April 3rd also at West Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.

Pat was a lovely lady I was privileged to know and share many enjoyable luncheons with her. One of my best memories was at the Butterfly Farm.where one butterfly kept landing on her head. It reminds us of how flitting life is. I will miss her. May God bless and strengthen you through this time of sorrow..
