Patricia (Patty) was born to Chathrine & Franklin Klein in La Junta, Colorado. She moved to Bakersfield in her early teens and has resided here ever since. She graduated from Bakersfield College and was the Homecoming Queen in 1949. Bakersfield College is where she met her lifelong sweetheart, T. Glen Brown. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary this past December. She is survived by her husband T. Glen Brown, her four children, Clifford (Linda), Lawrence (Joyce), Vince (Kelli) and Christie (Tom), 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister, Kay Schauer (Jim), many cousins, nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Preceded in her death are brothers, Keith and Jake, and both parents.
Patty worked for Atlantic Richfield for a while but loved to volunteer for Guild House, PTA, Den Mother, Brownies, PACK, etc. She loved being a mother, not only to her own children but to the entire neighborhood. Found in

Patty was the personification of this commandment and now she rests in the arms of the Lord.
Services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. Viewing will be held on Monday, June 12th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Service will be on Tuesday, June 13th at 2:00 pm (No Graveside). In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity .

She will be deeply missed. Glen and Patty would come eat with us at Wendy's. She was a great friend. She would listen to me talk about my career and what I wanted to do with my life. She always had the best advice. Thank you Patty and Glen for always making me smile.
