Patricia “Pat” Ann Persinger, 65, of Fayetteville went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born on April 13, 1952 at Beckley, she was the daughter of Stollie Pettry Asbury and the late Warren Asbury.
Pat was a member of Kaymoor Community Church where she was the former secretary-treasurer and former president of the ladies circle. She was a caregiver for the elderly and had worked as a clerk for Heileg-Meyers Furniture in Oak Hill. Pat enjoyed gardening, spending time with children, her grandchildren, and her little dog, Bindi.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories include her devoted husband, Ivan “Ed” Edward Persinger; son: Steven Bradford and wife, Leslie of Fayetteville; daughter: Nicki Burwell and husband, Larry of Pickaway; grandchildren: Harrison Burwell, Matthew Bradford, and Aaron Bradford; and sister, Betty Holstein.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Joe Cuthbertson and Rev. Marie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the funeral home.
Donations in Pat’s memory may be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV 25801.

I always considered her a great friend and a wonderful person. there are people who enter a persons life and graces them with their friendship.
