LEXINGTON – A Celebration of the Life of Patricia Zeigler Skrivan, 77, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Skrivan passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 after an extended illness. Mrs. Skrivan was born in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Edwin Deanes Zeigler and Marjorie Garner Zeigler. She was the wife of the late Jerry J. Skrivan. Mrs. Skrivan was a graduate of McClenaghan High School, Florence and attended St. Mary’s Jr. College, Raleigh, NC. She was a former member of the Board of Directors of the Florence Community Concert Association and was a member of Central UMC, Florence. She was an avid Gamecock Fan, loved to Shag, and was nominated to be honored on the Legends Commemorative Plaque at Fat Harolds Beach Club, Ocean Drive, NMB. She enjoyed playing Bridge and Canasta as well as Dominos with her friends but most importantly, she loved the time spent with family.
Surviving are her daughters, Donna Lifchez (Erik), Gay Hudson (Darrell),; grandchildren, Jacob Soles (Kara); Dylan Soles, Tyler Soles, Makenzie Hudson, Chase Hudson, Jeremy Hudson, Crystal Hudson Clark (Brent, Caden, and Mia), Sydney Lifchez and Morgan Lifchez Parrish (Mark). She was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her great-grandson, Harper Hammond Soles. She is also survived by sisters, Gay Z. Watts (JB), Beth Z. Branch; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Bradley Word, Dr. Eddie Williams and the amazing staff of Palmetto Health Baptist ICU.
