She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Charles Sam Abrasley, daughters Karen Davis, Lynne Paugh (Dean), grandchildren Brittany Davis, Chase Davis, Morgan Paugh, and Matthew Paugh, brothers Mike Bite and Richard Bite (Linda). She graduated from John Carroll High School and from Auburn University. While at Auburn, she was a member of the Delta Zeta Social Sorority and was selected as Pi Kappa Alpha sweetheart and voted to be on the Auburn Homecoming Court. She was selected as Miss Southern Federation for the Southern Lebanese community. She was a member of St. George Melkite Catholic Church. She loved her church and enjoyed making kibbee for the church festivals. Her focus in life and greatest joy was always her family. As a devoted wife and mother, she tirelessly worked to raise her son and daughters. She was the baseball catcher when needed to warm up young Charlie before the big game. She supported her daughters through cheerleading, softball, boys and sororities. Enduring the loss of her son, she never lost her loving spirit. When her children blessed her with grandchildren, she renewed her motherly passion and became "Sitty". As a loving grandmother, she cheered her grandchildren through football, baseball, wrestling and dance. No matter where it was or what the sport, she was always there with the love of her life, Charles. She extended her love of family to her many friends that always knew she would be there in times of need. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, June 23, 2014 at St. George Melkite Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church at 10:00am, with a Funeral Mass following. Burial will be immediately following at Elmwood Mausoleum. Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood (205)879-3401.
