Patricia Sue "Pat" Hobbs, age 76, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was a native and lifelong resident of Chattanooga, born February 12, 1936 to the late Burl and Emma Sanders. Mrs. Hobbs, a 1955 Red Bank High School graduate attended White Oak Baptist Church and was retired from Chattanooga Neurology after many years of service. Patricia Sue "Pat" Hobbs, age 76, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was a native and lifelong resident of Chattanooga, born February 12, 1936 to the late Burl and Emma Sanders.

Mrs. Hobbs, a 1955 Red Bank High School graduate attended White Oak Baptist Church and was retired from Chattanooga Neurology after many years of service. She was a member of Betsy Ross Order of the Eastern Star.

Pat was the widow of the late Ray C. Hobbs, a former Chattanooga radio announcer for WDOD. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, Ora Layne, Albert Sanders, Mary Etta Bryant, Burl Sanders, Jr., and Virginia Sanders.

Survivors include her children, Renee (Cliff) Brasher; Tonya (Jimmy) Green of Chattanooga; and Monty Hobbs of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Stephen Brasher, Brian Brasher, Kevin Brasher, and Ashley Davidson; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Shelbie Brasher and Peyton Davidson; sisters, Beatrice Fairbanks of Orlando, Florida; Mildred Bradley, and Lillie Mae Wheeler of Chattanooga; brothers, Lloyd (Nell) Sanders and Harold (Joyce) Sanders both of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Dr. Tony Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blood Assurance in Pat's memory.

Arrangements are by the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
