I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Pat in Evanston when I was a new math teacher and she was a wonderful mentor. I have thought of her often, and the lessons she taught me about working with diverse students and being a life-long learner.

Thank you for informing me of your mother's passing. We worked together for many years both as classroom teachers and as administrators of the Gifted Child project in Evanston, We had lots of fun together and really enjoyed each other.
We kept in touch through the mail in the last few years, sharing information about our families. She was so proud of her children and grand children. I'm sure you will miss her but she lived a good long life. My thoughts are with you. Sincerely, Annette Grubman
