Mrs. Patricia Marie Parker

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother Patricia Marie Parker (nee Pendray) on Wednesday June 20, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband John W. Parker

Pat will be greatly missed by her six children and their spouses: Carl (Julie) and Stephen (Leslie) Hyland and great grandchildren Grace, Daniel, Andrew and William; Barb (Dave) Whaley and Brian; Patsy (Sandy) Gibb and Casey, Alexandra and Kathryn; David (Daphne); Susan Parker and John and Michaela Negrin; Rob (Maureen) and Siobhan and Liam. Pat was born in Calgary and grew up in Victoria. In her early 20's she was a nurse in Toronto, where she met her husband John. They moved west in 1958 to West Vancouver. The Parker's were a boating family for many years as members of Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. John and Pat also resided in Shelter Bay and Semiahmoo, Washington. Pat's passion and constant fascination were the day to day events in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Pat was gracious and full of life, right to the very end. In her later years she enjoyed a very outgoing lifestyle with her many friends at Summerhill.
