Patricia Litwhiler East Lansing Patricia Litwhiler, 87, passed away on April 27, 2014 in East Lansing, Michigan. Patricia (Pat) was born to the late Mark T. and Mildred (Murphy) Walsh on February 25, 1927 in St. Charles, Michigan. She graduated from St. Charles High School, received an associate's degree from Penn Hall, and bachelor's and master's degrees from Michigan State University. Married to the late Daniel W. Litwhiler in 1971, she thoroughly enjoyed her time as part of the MSU Baseball family, attending games, traveling with the team to spring training, and taking trips to other countries, especially enjoying Korea and Japan....

Patricia Litwhiler, 87, passed away on April 27, 2014 in East Lansing, Michigan.

Patricia (Pat) was born to the late Mark T. and Mildred (Murphy) Walsh on February 25, 1927 in St. Charles, Michigan. She graduated from St. Charles High School, received an associate's degree from Penn Hall, and bachelor's and master's degrees from Michigan State University. Married to the late Daniel W. Litwhiler in 1971, she thoroughly enjoyed her time as part of the MSU Baseball family, attending games, traveling with the team to spring training, and taking trips to other countries, especially enjoying Korea and Japan. Patricia worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor in the Lansing area for a number of years before relocating to Florida with Danny after his retirement where she loved and cared for him until his death in 2011. She returned to Michigan in 2012.

Pat and Danny had a blended family of 10 children, one of whom, Richard Litwhiler, predeceased her. She is survived by her remaining children: Mark Litwhiler, Donna Wickham (Jack), Barbara Middaugh (Gary), Nancy James, Marcia Sawyer, Carol James, Dottie Anguiano (Art), Deanna Hopkins (Dale), and Daniel Litwhiler, Jr. (Peggy). She had 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home is handling arrangements. A memorial service will be held July 17, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Rd., East Lansing, MI 48823 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W Saginaw St, Lansing.
