I am very saddened by the passing of such a great guy. When I think of Scott I remember his smile and the way we always enjoyed picking on each other and everyone else. He was a true friend and always there to give me strength when I needed it . He will always hold a special place in my life.

A million and one things race through my mind thinking about my first cousin Scott. His contagious laughter, his comical side, his practical jokes, teasing and trying to scare his sister Alonda (he was quite young), his profound belief in our Savior Jesus Christ and his astounding vocal talents that I heard for the first time when our grandmother Myrtle passed away. I sat there in that pew, knowing how proud she'd be of him and how wonderful a voice MY COUSIN has. Not to mention the "kid" has guts. I could never do that, especailly under those circumstances. Yet he didn't miss a beat and it was sooooooooo beautiful. Well I guess our Lord wanted him in His choir. But boy will he be missed by so many people. As I sit here sobbing like a baby, my only relief is knowing one day I will see him again and it will last forever! Til then my sweetest Scott, blow us some gentle kisses through the wispy winds til they reach us on earth. I LOVE YOU AND ALWAYS WILL. To my family there, wish I could be with you all during this time but unfortunately it can't be. I've been thinking about Scott and you all today so much it's incredible. My love to you all and I will lift you up in prayer and ask the angels to take our collective prayers for peace beyond human understanding and lay them in the lap of our Lord. Amen.
