Patrick Lloyd Carroll Jr, 36, of Watsonville, CA passed away on April 10, 2012 at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA from complications caused by a heart transplant. Patrick was born May, 23, 1975 in Gardenia, CA to Patrick Lloyd Carroll Sr and Mary Ann Carroll. Patrick grew up in Long Beach and graduated from Jordan High School. Patrick was born May, 23, 1975 in Gardenia, CA to Patrick Lloyd Carroll Sr and Mary Ann Carroll. Patrick grew up in Long Beach and graduated from Jordan High School. Patrick married his wife, Samantha, in Las Vegas on January 24, 1998. Together they have two children, Robert, 13, and Jazzlyn, 9.
Patrick was born with a Congenital Heart Defect, Transposition of the Great Arteries, and was told he would need a heart transplant in 2010. He spent 15 months waiting for a heart transplant and received the new heart on March 6, 2012.
Patrick had a great love of sports, music, and monster trucks. He was a member of the Long Beach Junior Concert Band as well as part of the Time Flys monster truck crew. He was also a Donate Life Ambassador and helped to educate people on the need for organ donation.
Viewing will be Tuesday from 4 – 7 PM at Luyben Family Dilday-Mottell Mortuary, 5161 E. Arbor Road, Long Beach, CA 90808. Service will be Wednesday at 11 AM with a lunch to follow at Journey of Faith Church, 17456 Downey Ave.,
