Gladdy and Mary,
We were so sad to hear about Patrick passing. I asked about your family at the Sweeton reunion this year because we didn't have your address to send you an invitation. Someone said told us Patrick had died. We felt so sad. The first time we met him was when we had the reunion at our house about 18 years ago and you all came and Patrick brought a homemade pie and said he came because the invitation said we were having all sorts of games and fun. I loved him immediately. I wish we could have spent more time with you Mary and Gladdy and Patrick. We miss our times with you Gladdy when we lived on Canton Road when me and Dick first got married and rented Henry Bahres house and we went to the Health Store where you worked. We are grateful for the times we did have together. My dad Ed Sweeton would have been happy to know that we had the happy times together. Much love and healing, Cindy Sweeton Holden, Dick and Anna

Pat and I hung out in highschool, joined the Coast Guard and went half way around the world together. Seen alot of things, done alot of things. Would do some again, some not. It's interesting the different turns our lives take. I'm sad those turns hadent intersected again. Lesson learned. I'm so sorry.

Pat had a good sense of humor, he smiled with his whole face, eyes included, contageous laugh, and of course a nice haircut. It's been quite a few years, but he was one of those people that makes ya smile thinking about him. Bless ya Mary, and family.

Dear Mary,
I was blessed to meet Patrick for the first time at "Gramps" Diters 90th birthday. He was very kind and gentle- a special trait laced through all the Diters men I know. I spent one very nice night on the phone with him while he was in the hospital not long ago. He will be sorely missed and has touched many hearts! My Best to you, Glady and the rest of the family. All my Love, Laura Diters
