Patsy L. Swanson, 99, of Greeley passed away peacefully June 15, 2017.

Patsy was born November 23, 1917 in Windsor to Jake and Katie (Feit) Kyger. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Windsor High School in 1937. In 1939, she married Oscar F. Swanson. They farmed north of Windsor before moving to Greeley in 1959. They were married 53 years when Oscar passed away June 13, 1992.

Patsy worked and retired from University of Northern Colorado Food Services. She enjoyed cooking, baking, trying new recipes, reading, traveling, watching baseball and football, spending time with family and friends and her faithful little dog Sammy. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Patsy is survived by her daughter Glenis, son Newell, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren nephew Jim Kyger, niece Bev Fagler and her little dog Sammy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother John Kyger, sister Glenis Kyger and a baby brother Dudley.

Inurnment services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor, Colorado.
