Obituary

Patsy Ainsworth of McGregor went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 11, 2012, at the age of 72. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, may 15, 2012, at First United Methodist Church, 500 South Madison Street, McGregor with Rev. Joe Chamness officiating. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery under the direction of Cole Funeral Home. 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Cole Funeral Home. Mrs. Ainsworth was born April 18, 1940, in Baytown, Texas, the daughter of the late Bob Hughes and Claudine (Dunaway) Burns. She was a 1958 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown and later attended a medical secretarial school in Houston. On July 17, 1959, she married M.A. "Andy" Ainsworth at first Baptist Church in Wooster, Texas. In 1966 she moved to McGregor where for twenty-four years assisted her husband in the McGregor Veterinary business as office manager.
She was a member of First united Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, playing the piano and spending relaxing time on the beach.

Survivors include her husband M.A. Ainsworth; a son, Chad Ainsworth and wife Stacy; three daughters, Andrea Beasley and husband Jay; Wendy Kucera and husband Roger, Brooke Wallace and husband Rufus; a sister, Ann Burns; ten grandchildren, Angie Marlin, Amber Lasater, Ty Croford, Kaley Zacharias, Tessa Croford, Jameson Beasley, Drew Zacharias, Alli Ainsworth, Madi Ainsworth, Zachary Ainsworth; two great grandchildren, Jack Marlin and Kenzi Marlin.
