I appoligize for not being there, but because of illness I thought it best not to

Dena & Michelle,
I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember your mom from when we were little and all lived on Kennsington Street - she was always so sweet and would laugh and smile while watching us play in the front yard.
Do you remember the time that Michelle and Jonathan "ran away" on their Big Wheels - just down the street ?
And there was the time (we were teenagers) that we all got together at the beach (I think it was Wildwood) what a fun time we all had.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

What a wonderful mother, sister, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She will be missed. I am so thankful that we had the pleasure of sharing a recent vacation together in Florida. I will miss her smile, laugh, and the way she adored our daughter. God Bless.

My grandmother, Pattie Barbuscio, was the best grandmother anyone could ever ask for. She was always there when anyone needed her. She didnt have a mean bone in her body and everybody who ever met her instantly fell in love with her.
My grammy was very special to me. She was the only person to call me " Little Tiffers" and I always got a big smile on my face when i heard her say it. I remember when I was little she taught me how to play the little old orgeon in her basement. I used to play " Faith for Our Fathers" and would make her dance and sing as i played. She used to tell me that one day i would play the orgeon in her church. I used to get very excited to spend the night as her house. I used to make her play odd games with me that i used to make up and she was more than happy to do it. Then we would go on trips to the grocery store and go to church. My grammy always said she loved taking me to church because I always sang "Hallelujah" louder than anyone in the church.
My grammy always had a smile on her face that could brighten up any room. When i finially got my liscense, I got a job that was close to her house. I used to go visit her and bring her carrot cake and we would sit down and eat our cake together.
Thinking back on my grammy, there are only good things to remember. She is the best grammy in the entire world and she meant everything to me. I love her so much and I always will. She will always be with us and she will never be forgoten.
I love you grammy and you will forever be my angel. <3

Merry Christmas to my mother and to everyone. It will not be the same without her, but I promise to do my best to keep the laughter going and to make this a very Merry Christmas for everyone - just like she has always done.
She is my hero.

Sometimes in my work as a teacher, I ask my students to write an essay in preparation for their GED.The topic would be, "if you could choose anyone, famous or not, to be a family member, who would it be and why?" If I had to write this essay on choosing any sister, I would choose the ones I have. Pattie has been a great sister to her two sisters and two brothers. She is the first of five children and had the capabilities of making things better for all of us. One of the things I can tell you about Pattie is that she always made our Christmas' very special. From our younger years to the current, Pattie was able to provide laughter and make you feel special. (Although she was the special one.)
For Connie, the sister closest in age, a phone call could turn into both of them laughing uncontrollably and having us wonder what they were saying. When Pattie needed to laugh, Connie was there for her. When Connie needed reassurance, Pattie was there for her. Recently the two of them spent time at Pattie's house after Pattie returned home from the hospital.
For Betsy, Pattie was a short drive away. They visited each other often for cookouts and various other events such as shopping and taking short trips. Everywhere Pattie went, laughter for some reason, would highlight the event.
For me, her oldest brother, I could count on very special Christmas' in my younger years, to guitar lessons and educational opportunities in my middle years and training opportunities to further my career in my lifetime. Many times I would stay at Pattie's so that I could attend training or seminars. She would of course, treat me with first class. Breakfast was always a super nice treat.
For Randy, the youngest of us all, Pattie is very special. There are many reasons for this. Pattie liked to spoil Randy in his younger years. (Something about him being the youngest.) The one thing she did do, as she did with all of us, was to make him laugh. In a lot of families when there are 20 years difference in age, brothers and sisters are not always close. This was not the case between Pattie and Randy. They were very close. Recently, when Randy was on one of his coast to coast truck runs, he told Pattie he would be calling her every day until she got well.
Pattie will certainly be missed by many, but she will never be forgotten by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Her laugh will continue to keep us laughing as we look back over the many enjoyable times we have all had. Pattie, you are an amazing sister, and thank you for everything.

I got to know Pat when she went on many walks throughout our neighborhood. She will be missed. My thoughts are with the family and close friends. It is so hard to loose someone and close to the holidays makes it especially hard. Keep close to your heart knowing that you will be together again according to Gods' word. John 3:16 for God so love the world that he gave his only Son that whom ever believes in Him will not parish but hav ever lasting life.
