Paul was my first squadron commander, and my first supervisor! He was a fantastic teacher. He cared about his people and worked many hours each day to accomplish his mission. After 20-years in the Air Force, I can honestly say Paul was the best officer I ever worked for - and I've worked for some really good ones! In addition, he was my friend, well more like my big brother, and we have kept in touch over the years. He even came to see me my last night in Viet Nam. Our visit was memorable. He also visited with me in Anchorage AK one night when he had a lay- over there flying to Washington D.C. the next day. Because of him, I was a better person and airman. I will miss him terribly, but thank the good Lord he put Paul in my path in life. RIP my brother, your baby brother, Tom

I was so sad to hear of my cousin Paul's passing. I have such fond memories of him. I will not mourn because he is gone, but will celebrate that he happened. You will be missed. May you now rest in peace. Love, Marcia (Kopycinski) Evancho and husband George.
