Paul Fredrick Holdshoe Jr. passed away on August 7, 2017 at his home after a short illness. He was born on July 21, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Paul F. and Ollie Marie (Carter) Holdshoe, Sr. Paul served in the U. S. Navy from 1960-1964 as an E3 fireman with an honorable discharge. After being discharged from the Navy, he resided in New Orleans where he worked on tug boats. Paul then moved to Oak Grove, Missouri and worked for Armco Steel for 22 years with the United Steel Workers Union. Paul married Judy Rife and she survives. Additional survivors are 2 sons by Adalyn Holdshoe, Paul Michael Holdshoe and Patrick Anthony Holdshoe, both of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter by Judy Holdshoe, Deonna Marie Stewart, Port Richey, Florida; 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters. Funeral services for Paul will be on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Oak Grove, Missouri. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church preceding the service. Interment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. In honor of Paul, contributions may be made to the Paul Holdshoe funeral expense fund. Services are under the direction of McGilley & George Funeral Home, Grandview, Missouri.

I was so proud and I know you were also proud. What we shared together was something many people never experience. I will never forget ours. You will be in my heart forever and always. I LOVE YOU!
