Paul W. Austin, 76, of Camp Hill, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 in the Thornwald Nursing Home, Carlisle.
He was born March 4, 1936 in Modesto, CA. He was the son of the late John Wendell and Marie (Gerhardt) Austin; and preceded in death by his partner of 42 years, G. Ralph Wine.
Paul graduated from college in Modesto, CA , he retired as manager from Barnes and Nobles Book Store, Camp Hill; he loved playing the piano, and traveling the world with Ralph.
He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill and attended the Metropolitan Community Church of the Spirit, Harrisburg.
Paul is survived by 2 brothers; cousins; and nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2012 followed by the Memorial Service at 3:00 PM in the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St., Camp Hill. Burial will be in the St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Modesto, CA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association,3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 202, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or to the Metropolitan Community Church, 2973 Jefferson St., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
