Paul B. Girard, age 89, passed away October 8, 2013. He was a founding member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Solanus Casey Council, a member of the IBEW Local #58 and a part of the Gladwin Area R/C Club. Paul was the beloved husband of Lorraine Girard; loving father of Sandra (Lee) Smith, Sharon, John (Kimberly), and Sally; devoted grandfather of Christine, Michele, John, Emily (Brad), Michael, Elizabeth, Dan, and Matt; and proud great-grandfather of Jack. Paul also was survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, Oct. 11, 2:30 – 9 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp. Funeral Mass Saturday, Oct. 12, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints, Fraser, at 10:00 a.m, with in-state at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Parkinson Foundation (http://www.parkinson.org) or to a charity of your choice. Aunt Lorraine We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Paul's passing.I am sure God welcomed him with open arms.Still remember when you two took Jack and me to the upper where he grew up.He took us riding in a Model A and took us to see the iron ore being loaded on ships.You will never know what a wonderful,nurturing influence you both were to us growing up.Jan and i love you and will pray for you.Remember all of the good times.
