I am so sorry for your family's loss. Paul and I worked down the hall from each other at the courthouse and he was always so humorous and upbeat!
We used to spend times during the day in the hallway catching up on family news and what was new at the courthouse.
I've thought of Paul over the time I've been in the halls and wondered what he was dong. An unforgettable man!

I am deeply saddened by the loss of someone so very important to me and so many. The influence that Mr. Myers had on my life was so powerful that I feel like a part of me goes with him to his final rest. I pray that the love of friends will bring his family comfort. I know the love of God will bring them peace. I will forever miss just knowing he is in this world, but am at the same time rejoicing that he has reached his eternal home.

Possessing a keen, quick wit and ready smile, Mr. Myers was also the epitome of the welcoming, gracious, nurturing soul of a true gentleman. Although I could not hope to achieve the standards he set, even the attempt to do so would make anyone a better person. He will always be an inspiration for me and I thank God and the entire Myers family for the blessing of sharing him with us.

I was sad to hear about Paul's passing. From 1966 to 1970, I was in the Jennings High School band. It was so good to visit with him when we had the last Jennings Band Reunion, which gave me an opportunity to thank him for what he meant in my life. Paul not only helped me explore music, but he also taught me life values that remain with me today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...

I sadly received the news of Mr. Myers's passing. My love and condolences are with his family and loved ones. Mr. Myers was the key formative figure in my life. He was indeed a surrogate father, mentor, and friend. I can honestly say that whoever I am and whatever I have accomplished in life has evolved from the lessons learned in the Jennings High Band Room under his guidance. His high standards of excellence coupled with his genuine concern and care for each student elevated us all. May God's blessings be with him and his family.
