Obituary

Dr. Paul E. Page, 81, of Nashville passed away at his home November 27, 2013. Born in Newark, N.J. April 13, 1932, Paul was the son of Earl and Alice Page. Paul moved to Brown County in 1945 and made southern Indiana his home. He graduated from University High School in Bloomington. After a stint in the US Navy from 1951-1954, he attended Indiana University. He graduated from Midwestern University and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1960. He did his residency in Columbus, OH. Being a doctor and helping people was his passion. Over the past 50 plus years, Paul practiced in Fort Branch, Hope, Seymour, Morgantown, and Nashville....
Dr. Paul E. Page, 81, of Nashville passed away at his home November 27, 2013. Born in Newark, N.J. April 13, 1932, Paul was the son of Earl and Alice Page. Paul moved to Brown County in 1945 and made southern Indiana his home. He graduated from University High School in Bloomington. After a stint in the US Navy from 1951-1954, he attended Indiana University. He graduated from Midwestern University and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1960. He did his residency in Columbus, OH. Being a doctor and helping people was his passion. Over the past 50 plus years, Paul practiced in Fort Branch, Hope, Seymour, Morgantown, and Nashville. He was the Brown County Health Officer from July 2004 until his death. Paul was a member of the Grace Church, Brown County Masonic Lodge, Hahdi Shrine of Evansville, Masonic Lodge of Fort Branch, and the Brown County Lions Club. He served on many committees and boards including, Brown County YMCA, Greenlawn Cemetery, Habitat for Humanity, Brown County Art Gallery, and many others. Besides his love of medicine, Paul loved his family, many friends, travel, and antiqueing. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and IU Hoosiers fan.
Survivors include his wife, the love of his life, Carole, Nashville, children, Kimberly L. (John) Anthony, Bloomfield, IN, Kathryn S. (Martin) Sheil, Westfield, N.J., M. Todd (Robin) Pancake, Marshall, IL, Anthony W. (Elizabeth) Pancake, Zionsville, IN, and Jamie S. Page, Bloomington, IN. He has 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Paul E. Page, Jr., and daughter, Jodi Lyn Page.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, December 8 at Salt Creek Golf Club, 2359 State Road 46 East, Nashville at 3:00 P.M., the family will receive visitors from 1:00-3:00 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital, Neo –Natal Unit or IU Health Hospice.
