PARKER, Paul James – 76, Fort Ellis, passed away March 21, 2012 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Elmsdale, he was a son of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Horne) Parker. Paul retired from Natural Resources in 1994. He served as Corporal in the United Nations Peace Keeping Corp from 1954 until 1972. Paul was also a Commissionaire and drove taxi for awhile after retiring. He is predeceased by sister Frances Kennedy, brothers Tom Parker and Lou Parker, granddaughter Robyn MacKinnon. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8, Saturday, March 24, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. No service by request. Interment 6:30 pm, Tuesday, May 1, in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East. Family and friends may send condolences by signing the guest book at: ettingerfuneralhome.com
