Paul Francis Quigley, 85, of Concord, NH, formerly a 48 year resident of Norwood, passed away peacefully at the Hospice House of Concord on July 12, 2014. Born in Chelsea, the son of John and Florence (Chaisson) Quigley, Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara (Marchand) and his dear brother, Wilbur. He will be deeply missed by his twin, Pauline Doherty of Chelsea; his children, Susan Quigley-Belliveau and Stephen "Jay" Belliveau of Westminster, John and Chong-uk Quigley of GA, James Quigley of Leominster, William and Katie Quigley of OH, and Nancy and Michael Curtin of NH; his grandchildren, Patrick and Timothy Belliveau,...
Paul Francis Quigley, 85, of Concord, NH, formerly a 48 year resident of Norwood, passed away peacefully at the Hospice House of Concord on July 12, 2014. Born in Chelsea, the son of John and Florence (Chaisson) Quigley, Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara (Marchand) and his dear brother, Wilbur. He will be deeply missed by his twin, Pauline Doherty of Chelsea; his children, Susan Quigley-Belliveau and Stephen "Jay" Belliveau of Westminster, John and Chong-uk Quigley of GA, James Quigley of Leominster, William and Katie Quigley of OH, and Nancy and Michael Curtin of NH; his grandchildren, Patrick and Timothy Belliveau, David, Danny, Jaclyn, James, Christopher, Ellen, Alyssa, and Brian Quigley and Megan, Sarah and Lauren Curtin, his many nieces and nephews and his good friend, Robert Keay of NH. Paul was a graduate of Bentley College and worked in sales in the book publishing industry. He was a member of the National Guard in both Illinois and Massachusetts. He was active in St. Timothy's Parish in Norwood as a Eucharistic minister and member of the choir. He enjoyed cooking and traveling, especially his trips to Ireland, Germany, Korea, Canada and more local trips with family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 19, at 9:00 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., NORWOOD, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 18, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul's memory to St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood, MA 02062 or to a charity of one's choice.
