It was my privilege to have been able to spend time with him at family gatherings. He was always kind, patient, a good sport and a fierce supporter of his family. It is because of him that I have a renewed love of puzzles!
He will be missed, but the example by which he led his life lives on in his children and grandchildren.
Please be assured of my continued prayers.
Fondly,
The Landry Family

To all the Townes,
We are so sorry for your loss. Please know you are in our thoughts a prayers everyday.
Paul Towne was such a great man! Our family was lucky enough to spend happy days at Vogel State Park and various lakes in Georgia with Paul and Irene, along with Louise, Marty, Mary Beth, Anna and Terri.
Paul gave each of us a chance to try to beat him at horseshoes, knowing full well that none of us stood a chance! His skill at doing puzzles was another legend that will live on! To this day, if we can't find a piece we need in a puzzle, we say, "Where's Paul Towne?"
The most enduring memory for our family will be Paul's love and admiration of his entire family, but most of all, his cherished bride, Irene. He loved to tell us about their courtship and happy life together. He would smile and tell us how lucky he was! He was a man in love!
Paul will be missed, but his legacy will live on through each and every life he touched. It was our good fortune to have had him in our lives.
All our love,
Lou, Maureen (Moran), Kelly (and husband Matt), Alison and Dana Hurtik

When I was born in 1954, Paul was my godfather. In the old family album, there are still a couple of old birthday cards that he sent to me when I was real small. Rest in peace, Paul.
