Paul, my beloved second cousin, was most dear to me. We had no siblings so he was like a big brother to me. It is sad that his life was cut short. He will be missed, and my condolences go out to his wife Rose and his three children and his four granddaughters. Rest in pease, Ron and Elizabeth Hansen

I liked and enjoyed working with Paul at The Standard. We got along well. He was a man that played by the rules and never expected more than what was just. After his retirement, we chatted whenever I visited the Garden Centre where he worked. That is my last memory of him, watering the plants and chatting about them with me. It is how I will remember him most.
