Even though I can not be there, grandma Pauline and all of the family is in my heart and prayers today. I have great memories of my childhood times in Spooner, with both Grandma Pauline and Grandpa Ruel, I know they are together now and in peace. Though I am not there I will take today to remember those good times.

My heartfelt condolences reach out to the children of Aunt Polly. I know her family meant alot to her as she proudly displaced pictures of them in her home. She always seemed to glow when asked about them as well. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all those that knew her. Love you cousins. Carol Kendall

I would like to extend my sympathies to my cousins for the loss of their sweet mother. Aunt Polly and Uncle Ruel raised some fine children under difficult situations. I got to know Sandy one summer because of the loss of the family home to fire. That was a fun summer for me but I am sure it wasn't that way for Sandy, as she had to live away from her siblings until another dwelling was found. My sister Carol and I got to attend a school dance for the first time when I was in the 8th grade, thanks to Jerry, Basie and Sandy.Love,Judy Kendall Hix

Jerri and I are sorry for the loss of Aunt Polly. I have a lot of good memories of playing with my cousins at Uncle Ruel's and Aunt's Polly's home and will keep them in our prayers.

My sympathies to Aunt Polly's family. Though I hadn't seen her since she left
the Spooner Nursing Home, I thought of her often, and she was always included in my prayers. My memories of her are mostly those of childhood when I was a kid playing with her children, my cousins, when they lived on "Hopp Hill." Her family was her life, and she lived it well.
