So sorry to hear. I missed Aunt Polly's visits but glad her sister, my grandmother Irene, was able to share some Holidays and Winters together on the left coast for a few years.
We send many prayers out West from the Saints here in Watertown.
Deepest sympathies.

Loved my Aunt Polly and I am so Thankful that I got to see her a couple of Years ago...The pictures are really nice...The one of the family all together when they were young...was about the time that they moved to California...The distance never mattered...East to West Coast we were always close...I never thought that Aunt Polly looked like my Mom until I saw a couple of the pictures...The one with the Old fart Hat on ...and then the picture right after that one with her with light brown hair like my Moms...I always remember Aunt Polly with dark hair...Great Childhood memories and memories of all the wonderful times that they came back East to visit...Love and miss you Aunt Polly...

Great childhood memories of going to the Adam's home after school and seeing Mrs. Adams (Pauline)sometimes visiting with a relative or friend or other times she'd be working around the house. I always remember being impressed about the orderly and timely fashion . she would prepare herself for work. She would shower, dress in her black skirt and white shirt, nylons and tennis shoes. She would carry her black pumps in hand so she could change into them once she got to work. Before she would leave for work, she would tell Crystal, Lori or Roxy instructions on how to complete the dinner she had prepared earlier. Then off she would walk to the bus to get to work as a telephone operator on the swing shift. She was a posiive role model of a working mother in the 60's. May she rest in peace knowing she and her dedicated husband raised three great girls and son, Danny.
