Obituary

Pauline Belle Williams Bartlett, daughter of Charles M. Williams and Belle Pierce Williams was born in Otego on February 8, 1909. She married Bennett J. Bartlett on June 28, 1930. They were farmers in East Sidney until his death in 1963. Following the death of her mother in 1922, she lived with her Aunt Caroline Copeley Sowles near Wells Bridge. A Unadilla High School graduate of 1927, she also attended Wyoming Seminary and Oneonta Normal. She was an Election Inspector for District 3, Town of Sidney for 30 years, and Secretary/Treasurer of the East Sidney Union Cemetery Association for 32 years. While in Unadilla, she was a...
Pauline Belle Williams Bartlett, daughter of Charles M. Williams and Belle Pierce Williams was born in Otego on February 8, 1909. She married Bennett J. Bartlett on June 28, 1930. They were farmers in East Sidney until his death in 1963.

Following the death of her mother in 1922, she lived with her Aunt Caroline Copeley Sowles near Wells Bridge. A Unadilla High School graduate of 1927, she also attended Wyoming Seminary and Oneonta Normal. She was an Election Inspector for District 3, Town of Sidney for 30 years, and Secretary/Treasurer of the East Sidney Union Cemetery Association for 32 years.

While in Unadilla, she was a member of the Emma Curtis Painting Group and was employed at Bendix Corp. for 10 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Belle Robbins; her five grandchildren, Robbie Robbins of Tampa, Florida, Victoria Robbins of Franklin, Shawn and Katie Robbins of Nashua, New Hampshire, Kristopher Robbins of Walnut Creek, California, and Tammy and Scott Seward of Mt. Upton.

She is also survived by her twelve great grandchildren, Mackenzie Langston of Bow, New Hampshire, Sierra and Lisa Bullis of Franklin, step great grandson, Nicholas Jones, Conner, Jake, and Michael Robbins all of Nashua, New Hampshire, Riley and Jacey Robbins of Dahlomega, Georgia, Mariah, Chelsea and Brandon Seward of Mt. Upton; her great great grandson, Trentin Goodspeed and several nieces and nephews.

Pauline was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Deborah Alice, who passed away in 1966 and her loving sister, Doris Beers on December 11, 2007.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the East Sidney Union Cemetery.
