Pauline "Runt" Hasler, 80, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 6, 2014 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on November 23, 1933 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Dave and Annie Armentrout Hasler. "Runt" lived her entire life in the Keezletown community and was a member of the Fellowship United Methodist Church. She was employed in the housekeeping department at Rockingham Memorial Hospital for 17 ½ years and most recently was employed at Regal Cinemas. Pauline "Runt" Hasler, 80, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 6, 2014 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on November 23, 1933 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Dave and Annie Armentrout Hasler.

"Runt" lived her entire life in the Keezletown community and was a member of the Fellowship United Methodist Church. She was employed in the housekeeping department at Rockingham Memorial Hospital for 17 ½ years and most recently was employed at Regal Cinemas. She also was a lifetime member of Hose Company #4 Harrisonburg Ladies Auxiliary, VFW and American Legion.

On September 15, 1956 she married Robert "Bobby" Hasler who preceded her in death on June 7, 1976.

She is survived by two brothers, Charles Hasler and wife, Judy, and Harry Hasler all of Keezletown; one niece, Tina M. Kennedy of Keezletown; one nephew, Tim Hasler of Harrisonburg; two great-nieces, and three great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Josephine Spitzer.

The family will receive friends 6-8:00 pm Friday, August 8, 2014 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 9, in the Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Clarence Moyers officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hose Co. #4, 210 E. Rock St., Harrisonburg, VA 22802.
