On February 5, 1944 the family of Anna and Nikolay Opalchuk were blessed by the birth of their third
child, son Pavel. Pavel was born during World War II. When he was merely two month old, his father
was taken away to the war. He has never returned to see his family again. With a help from God Anna
brought up Pavel who became a man of integrity. !
Pavel was a man who loved the Lord and walked in the fear of God. He was a man of high moral
standards, a man who's family values were very strong. His priority were, his wife and his children to
whom he gave his best all the days of his life. Later, when he became a grandfather his grandkids were
everything to him. !
Pavel was known as a man of few words and a soft heart. His children has always sought his advice, and
he was always ready to give a good one. His friends and people who were close to him have valued his
advices as well. The anger and frustration never lingered in his heart for long. !
Pavel was a very hard, dedicated, responsible and loyal worker. When the family moved to the US he
worked in the same firm for over 20 years. He earned trust and respect with his boss. Pavel was granted
a permission to hire for a job slavic men. Over the course of his working years he has helped many men
to get employment. !
His most ultimate goal in life was- heaven. Early in the morning of August 8, 2014, we have lost our very
much loved husband, dad, grandpa and brother. We will miss him very much, but we know its not going
to be like that forever. One day we all will be together as a family again. We are very thankful to God for
his precious gift-eternal life.
