PARK, Pearl (nee WOOD)
Born: January 18, 1928
At Rest: January 27, 2013

With precious memories, the family announces that Pearl Park passed away peacefully on January 27, 2013, soon after her 85th birthday.
Pearl was born in Cadomin, Alberta - a coal miner's daughter to Winnifred and Alexander Wood. She leaves behind a loving family: daughter Janice Park, son Rod (Mary-Jane) Park, daughter Bonnie Yaskiw; as well as grandchildren Brandon (Kelly) Park, Kyle Park, Chad Yaskiw, Christina Park; and great-grand-daughter Ava Park.
Family members who predeceased Pearl include her parents, brother Alexander Wood, half-brother George Pritchard, husband Andrew Park and son-in-law Bill Yaskiw.
Pearl will be fondly remembered by family, friends, members of the Alberta Coal Branch Club, members of the Esso Strathcona Annuitant Club and others.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Pearl's life will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton.
If desired, memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Osteoporosis Canada, PO Box 41299 STN BRM B, Toronto, Ontario M7Y 7E1 or to a charity of one's choice.
