Peggy J. Amick, 85, of Brown Springs Road, Mosheim, passed away Thursday at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Amick retired from the grocery business in San Diego, Calif.

She was an active member of the Escapees RV Club.

Mrs. Amick enjoyed playing Bridge and other types of cards. She loved to travel and has seen most of the world.

Survivors include her husband: Robert B. Amick; a daughter: Candy Duran of Los Angeles, Calif.; two granddaughters: Tammy Short of Tehachapi, Calif., and Nicole LeQuesne of Los Angeles; one grandson: Jayson LeQuesne of Sacramento, Calif.; three great-granddaughters: Tiffany, Tristyn and Trinity Short; her beloved dog: Misty; and her special friend: Edward Patterson of Chuckey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.

There will be no formal visitation or funeral service in Greeneville.
